Country legends to perform at Albany Live
By David H. Waller
It’s Albany Live week in town, and this Saturday, the Bellamy Brothers will hit the Aztec Theater stage for the third show of the season. The country music duo, known for hits like Let Your Love Flow and Redneck Girl, has been entertaining fans for nearly five decades, and their stop in Albany is shaping up to be a big one.
Ticket sales have been strong, but a few seats are still up for grabs. Organizers encourage anyone wanting to catch the show to secure their tickets soon.
Howard and David Bellamy have built a career blending country, rock, and pop influences, creating a signature sound that has made them a staple in country music. Their extensive catalog of hits has kept them on the road for years, drawing in audiences of all ages.
Albany Live has built a reputation for bringing top-notch live music to town, and this weekend’s show is expected to keep that momentum going. Over the years, the concert series has hosted an impressive lineup of artists, including Chris Knight, Paul Cauthen, Charlie Robison, Shane Smith & The Saints, Reckless Kelly, Gary P. Nunn, and many more. With the Bellamy Brothers taking the stage this Saturday, the tradition of great live music in Albany continues.
Doors open at 6:00pm, with the show set to start at 7:00pm. Tickets can be purchased online at albanylive.org or at the venue while supplies last.
After this weekend, Albany Live has two more shows on the schedule to wrap up the season. Neal McCoy will bring his high-energy performance to the stage on April 5, and Dale Watson and His Lone Stars will close things out on June 7 with their signature honky-tonk sound.
