KevinWisdom,age67of Cisco, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024. He was born Aug. 12, 1957, in Amarillo, TX, the son of William J. and Gladys (Barkley) Wisdom.

Kevin graduated from Claude High School, Class of 1975. Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Navy as a First Class Petty Officer and Electrician from 1975-1980.

On Dec. 30, 1975, Kevin married his high school sweetheart, Cynthia Gale Cruse.Kevinexpressedhis love for Cynthia in second grade, by telling his mom that he was going to marry her.

Kevin worked in the foundry industry for 43 years,beginningatCrouse-Hinds in Amarillo in 1980. In1996,KevinmovedtoAlbany, TX to become Plant Manager for EBAA Iron, later transferring to the Eastland location. Kevin retired from EBAA Iron in January 2023. Kevin was a member of the Albany Masonic Lodge #482 .

Kevin was loved by his wife and daughters. His grandchildren adored him from the time they could recognize his gentle, unwavering voice and stoic gaze. Kevin will always hold a special place in their hearts.

They will remember him as a loving, generous, kind and humorous grandfather who was willing to spend time and share his interests with them. From playing hide-and-go-seek to shooting targets, Kevin was always ready to have fun with his grandkids. Most of all, they will miss his warm, powerful hugs, his light-hearted jokes, and how he always took the time to listen to what they had to say.

Kevin had such a curious mind and was always wanting to learn something new and master a new skill. He never shied away from a challenge and was always willing to help.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, and brothersBillyWisdomand Robert Wisdom.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Cynthia. Two daughters, Marissa Clement and husband Dunn of Goodnight, TXandMollyStennettand husband Kevin of Cisco, TX; one brother, Gary Wisdom and wife Cheryl, of Pampa, TX; five grandchildren, Brody, Blane, MaryClare,Benjaminand Troy; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Memorialservicewillbe held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, at Friendship Baptist Church, 600 Greer St., Albany, TX. Arrangements made by Kimbrough-Jacobs Funeral Home, Cisco, TX. PD
