By Kathy Thomson The Albany Chamber of Commerce second annual Membership Drive Crawfish Boil will take place at the Albany Golf Course on Thursday, March 19, starting at 6:00 p.m. The Chamber will provide crawfish, chicken, fish, deer steak, all the fixings for the meal, and water to drink.

By Kathy Thomson The Albany High School 2020 competition one-act play The 39 Steps was performed in front of a live local audience at the high school auditorium on Monday, March 2, to prepare for the district competition taking place today.

Albany ISD students, faculty, and staff are scheduled to dismiss for the spring break holiday at 12:00 noon this Friday, March 6. Prior to the break, cheerleader try-outs will be held Friday morning, with local sixth graders bused over to the Albany High School gym for the competition.

Pick-up dates for the March distribution of the commodity food program are March 5 and 6. On Thursday, March 5, certified eligible families in Moran should pick up their monthly commodity food at Moran City Hall between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m.
