Report cards to be delivered electronically

By Lynsi Musselman Albany Independent School District will deliver electronic report cards only, starting with the end of this upcoming six weeks on Thursday, Oct. 1. The online report cards will be made available through the Ascender Parent Portal program using the primary parent’s account.

Items to be auctioned at FBC lunch

By Lynsi Musselman FBC will host a lunch and auction after church on Sunday, Sept. 27. There will be a silent auction of items that were collected by local youth during Camp Jam in July. The items will be displayed and available for bidding while lunch is served in the fellowship hall.

Bethel plans Patch party Oct. 3

By Lynsi Musselman Bethel Assembly’s ‘The Patch’ will take place on Saturday, Oct. 3 in downtown Albany at the Bank Park from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Church member Betsy Spraberry said the event will have the traditional pumpkin market with various sizes of pumpkins available for purchase.
