State monument installed
The fourth monument honoring Albany’s state championship football teams has been installed atMonumentParkoutside Robert Nail Memorial Stadium, completing the first upgrade to the facility. Monuments honoring Albany’s 1960, 1961 and 2022 teams were joined by one for the 2023 team.
MHS homecoming set today
Homecoming activities have been under way this week at Moran, building spirit for the homecoming football game. Moran will host Rotan at 7:30 p.m.
Patsy Cline ends 4-performance run
The final two performances of “Always...Patsy Cline”wrappedupSunday at the Aztec Theater, with the Albany Mainstreet Playhouse reporting over 800 tickets sold over the four-show run. “It was a wonderful run for the show,” said AMP director and vocal star of the show Lorna Ayers.
