Mothers Day Out, a ministry of Matthews Memorial Presbyterian Church, will officially open its preschool tomorrow, Sept. 6, for the 2024-2025 school year, according to Meg Walser who is in her fourth year with MDO and her second year as director of the school.

Enrollment for local GED classes has already started, but it is not too late to sign up, according to instructor Kenzie Fairchild Anyone interested in enrolling in the free classes must bring a photo identification and Social Security card in order to sign up.
