Sandi Conway was recently honored for 25 years of dedicated service to the Albany Lions Club, receiving a surprise celebration in recognition of her contributions.

“I never expected anything like this,” Conway said. “The Lions Club is very important to me, and it has been for a long time.”

FFA, 4-H close out busy stock show stretch

Albany FFA and Shackelford County 4-H are in the final stretch of the winter stock show season with several appearing at both the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and Rodeo Austin with three locals making sales.

In Wave 1 of the barrow show at Houston, Crew Spencer placed third with a spot and made the sale. Creed Spencer exhibited a Poland China.
