Chapman receives Paup scholarship

Albany High School graduate Jackson Chapman has been awarded the Nancy and Ted Paup Big Country Athletic Hall of Fame Scholarship. This scholarship fund is managed by the Community Foundation of Abilene.

FBC plans Summer Sunday events

By Sandy Morris First Baptist Church has several activities planned for the summer. Every Sunday night starting at 6:00 p.m., the church will sponsor Summer Sundays at the Bumguardner home. Adults will have a Bible study while kids swim followed by dinner.
