By Donnie A. Lucas All four of the junior high track teams fared well at the District 10-2A meet last Saturday in Hamlin, with the eighth grade boys winning their division. The eighth grade boys scored a total of 160.3 points for first place.

By Donnie A. Lucas The Lady Lion softball team split games last week, suffering the first district loss in Eula on Friday but getting back in the win column earlier this week. The Lady Lions traveled to Cisco on Tuesday, bringing back a big 11-4 win to advance to a 9-9 record for the season.

By Sandy Morris The Moran varsity track team members competed at the Paint Rock Indian Relays on Friday, March 26.  The next meet will be the District 13A meet on April 9 at May High School.

By Sandy Morris Moran ISD will hold a Spring Fling on Thursday, April 1 at the football field.  A meal of hamburgers and hot dogs will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m., followed by activities hosted by the various grades from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
