Moran basketball honors reported

By Sandy Morris Several Moran athletes have received honors following the 2020-2021 basketball season. Senior Dariann Hawley was named to the First Team Academic All-State Team.

Don Stutsman, age 72 of Moran, passed away Friday, Mar. 12, 2021. Graveside funeral services with full military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Mar. 20 at the Moran Cemetery Pavilion with Bro. Larry Briley officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.

By Donnie A. Lucas The Lady Lions softball team had a full week of games last week, playing six bouts including five at the Clifton tournament on Friday and Saturday. Albany opened district competition this week, with a Tuesday game against Gorman. The Lady Lions won the contest 18-1.

Resource Center receives grant
