Albany city council members voted to raise water rates by $1 per thousand gallons starting with the April 2024 billing during a Jan. 8 session.

ThomasKeithHumber, a long-time Albany resident, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 27 in Frisco, Texas. Tom was born onApril 14, 1936, at the family homestead on the farm owned by his parents, Walter and Lena Belle Humber. He was the oldest of the three siblings – Tom, Dick, and Harriet.
