Missing historical plaque needed for display

A historical plaque is currently missing that county officials would like to have back, if possible. According to county judge John Viertel, Shackelford County can soon look forward to seeing a display in the Bank Park depicting five of the older Shackelford County bridges that many residents have been aware of their whole lives.
Taken before the bronze plaque was chiseled from its longtime home, this photo shows the bollard at the Deep Creek bridge. County officials are hopeful that the sign was taken with good intent and will be returned. Courtesy Photo
