Johnny Lee Davis, Sr., age 74 of Albany, passed away Thursday, Jun. 30, 2022 after a brief battle with AMML leukemia. Graveside funeral services were held Saturday, Jul. 9 at Albany Cemetery pavilion with Chris Beard officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.

Jackie Lee Quaid was born March 7, 1941 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Jack Quaid and Letha Pope Quaid. She was adopted by Earn and Mable Jones as a young child. Jackie grew up and graduated from high school in Oklahoma.

Freda A. Jones, 96, of Chichester, NH died Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Havenwood Heritage Heights in Concord, NH where she received wonderful care from a staff that became like family.
She was born in Royalston, MA, Sept. 14, 1925 to Hollis B. Chase and Phyllis (Moore) Chase. Both were direct descendants of mid 1600’s New England settlers and “planters,” with multiple relatives of historic interest.

Jimmy Everett Ruff was born Dec. 27, 1949 in Albany, Texas to parents James Allen Ruff and Betty Jean Israel Ruff. He went to school in Albany and graduated from Albany High School in 1968.
After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Germany until his honorable discharge.
Connie Dianne (Fielder) Nail, age 75, of Bells TX formerly of Albany, was born on Feb. 10, 1947 in Odessa, TX to Douglas Harvey Fielder, Sr. and Treby Louise (Childers) Fielder. She passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX surrounded by her loving family.
Connie married Larry Henry Nail on July 16, 1981, in Albany, TX; together they celebrated 40 years of marriage. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister, daughter, and friend.

Dinty Shawn Bowman was born Jan. 10, 1949 in Baird, Texas to parents James Verlin Bowman and Frances Ione Vestal. He graduated from Albany High School and then went on to attend Cisco Junior College.
