Four board members were re-elected and another was voted in for the first time by the Albany Chamber of Commerce last Friday. As part of the annual membership meeting of the organization, the directors were elected to three-year terms by the members, followed by the board selecting officers for the coming year at the luncheon held at the Icehouse Restaurant.

Soloists perform at contest

Division I ratings A group of eight band students competed in the UIL Solo and Ensemble contest held at Wylie High School on Saturday. Three of the soloists brought back Division I medals, with the other five all earning a Division II on a rating scale of 1 through 5.
